Primitive Baking Day

Today I decided I was going to bake a cake......a primitive pantry cake that is. I found an old miniature copper mold at the TS that was perfect for my little creation, so I mixed up my primitive recipe, baked it, iced it, and here is the result. It looks good enough to eat.

I have also been working on a stitchery today that I plan to make into a wall hanging. I hope to have it finished soon and will post a photo when finished.

Mmmm looks good enough to eat! What did you use for the icing? wax, white glue stick?

We are on the same wavelength again, lol. I am also working on a stitchery that I want to turn into a wall hanging, lol. It's a free beehive pattern by Homeberries. I can't wait to see yours.

The icing was made by combining equal amounts of white craft paint and white craft glue, then I added a few drops of water until it was the right consistency for drizzling.

Love it!
I so want to make some...I can't bake worth a darn when it comes to "real" food, so maybe I bake something "faux"?? :)
Where did you find the recipe?

Have a wonderful day,
Happy St. Patricks day!
